Wheels Come Off The McSupermarket Sweep Trolly (Current Events)?
An £80,000 relaunch of the Find Madeleine campaign, due to start this week with posters and billboards in Spain and Portugal and television slots in Morocco, has been delayed for up to two weeks after Spanish and Portuguese supermarkets refused to put up posters of Maddy, saying that there are many missing children and it is unfair to give a foreign child “special treatment”.
Sources say the Find Madeleine fund is embroiled in a row with Justine McGuinness, Mr Mitchell’s predecessor, over allegations that she claimed an unjustified amount for overtime while working for the McCanns in Portugal.
