I personally find it annoying, and overly pretentious.

I don’t get it, like American Idol and America’s got Talent is a joke, Dancing with the Stars, & Americas Next Best Dance Crew or whatever and every other show where people eat cow balls and marry strangers for money are just TVs way of telling us we are mindless drones, now BE ENTERTAINED BY ABSOULOUTLY NOTHING!.

There’s no exceptions it’s either all or nothing. It’s such bull, somehow EVERYONE hates reality TV but more and more stations keep eating it up. IS everyone going broke or is everyone lying and just saying this now but actually sitting there watching what they hate?
It’s just TV I don’t see what’s the problem if you like it or if you don’t. If someone makes money off it it, who cares? Go make your own damn money and stop being upset about someone else making money. If it’s that easy then DO IT YOURSELF.
I love VH1 reality shows because they keep using the same people and it’s like hilarious watching these fools crash and burn every night on booze, pass along STD’s and throw away every moral known to man for some limelight or cash. It’s funny to laugh at them and THAT’S WHY THEY’RE THERE. Most are just actors trying to get their foot in the door the ones that aren’t are just trashy people looking to get rich quick or live in fame for nothing more than being a jerk.
I think it’s funny because there’s nothing real about the situations or the people and it’s just like the raw soap operas of the new millennium.

And really, the television itself is a waste of time in general. Anyone watching is a mindless drone because you should be reading, or exercise (especially in this country) being social or furthering your career or school work. Television is a time wasting device (don’t bring in news or anything because anything important you can easily read about in the paper or in an online newspaper without sitting there for an hour hearing about some stupid dog show). The people calling people “mindless drones” and somehow thinking they’re above this whole thing…you all sound so stupid. This in itself is a waste of time and mind numbing so really who are you to decide the lesser evil?
People really need to stop throwing out their opinions as something of grandiose importance and stop being so judgmental. God it’s TV, here come the thumbs downs…
